What’s on your menu for the holidays?!

Oh hiiiiii everyone! I can’t believe it’s already another Tuesday! I have actually been pretty preoccupied thinking about holiday recipe writing. However, I wanted to stop and take a moment to ask everyone else what is on their menu for the holidays? Last year, I served this to my family for Thanksgiving:

img_7426It was Brussel Sprouts, Tofurkey, Citrus Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing, and pumpkin scones I haven’t since replicated but want to. I will probably cook up something similar this Thanksgiving again, but because I am likely only cooking for two, I am trying to think about how to minimize the amount of work I have to do, whilst also still enjoying myself in the kitchen! I’m thinking of baking a big batch of savoury pumpkin biscuits, and some cranberry sauce this week to share with people I love pre holiday.

What are your favourite foods to have around Thanksgiving and what do you plan on making?!

Looks yummy! Hope you’ll share some of your recipes!

I’m getting really excited for Thanksgiving, too. Can’t decide whether to do a seitan roulade (like this: http://veganyumyum.com/2008/11/a-yumyum-thanksgiving/) or a stuffed pumpkin of some sort…. Might have to do both!

This will be my first vegan Thanksgiving, actually! I want to make a Potatoe, Leek and Rosemary pie..and something else. Not sure yet. My family is bringing chicken for themselves as well as dining in on my home cooked creations. 🙂
