Holy damn you guys, I’m sorry for the radio silence the past week or so. Things have been so busy lately I’ve hardly had time to sit down. Now, I’m actually laying down, in bed. Home sick from class, actually, because I’m quite worn down and have come down with some obligatory beginning of winter cold.

In the past couple of weeks, I have started studying entrepreneurship and am very excited to see where it takes me. I don’t have too much more to say on the topic right now as I am just beginning to learn, but will be probably be rambling on soon enough. I am currently trying to brainstorm some rad vegan bakery names that don’t have the word “vegan” in them as obnoxiously as my blog does. Not because I am not proud to be an ethical vegan, because I sure am. However, I am learning that in the part of Canada I am in, people need some coaxing, or for a talk show host to like something first, or else VEGAN is a total scary trigger word that turns their worlds upside down. And no one wants that. And vegan bakers have to make money too.

Anyways. I spent my weekend in Edmonton which seems to be the general theme, and it was wonderful and relaxing until a snowstorm hit, my (newish) car’s battery died briefly from the cold and because I can’t stop listening to podcasts for ten minutes while boyfran runs out of the car to grab coffees, and the roads were the scariest. I came home a little ill and have been nursing that with a lot of herbal cough syrup and tea. Hmmmph.

On another note, if anyone actually reads my rambles or enjoys doing so, a review I did for the EZ Tofu Press was just published yesterday on T.O.F.U Magazine’s blog, so feel free to check that out too. Especially if you want to see me drink tofu water and cringe, because I know everyone obviously does.

Anyways, I am now binge eating some roasted cauliflower and kale lasagna that I can barely taste because of my dumb stuffed up head, and playing with my new Macbook Air after retiring my garbage old unibody (another reason why my posting has been scarce), so I hope you all take care of yourselves and each other. Talk to you soon ❤
Awwwweee.. get better! I hate it when people are sick. I feel so bad. 😦
My boy was just sick too not too long ago with a stuffed head and I caught a bit of the stuffiness too. It sucks big time. Get lots of rest and I hope you’re up and at it soon!!
Feel better soon! That lasagna looks like it might do the trick. I’m super intrigued with the talk of entrepreneurship and vegan bakeries!
