VEGAN MOFO 2015+Treat Yoself Tuesday ft. Beers, bunz, n baths

OMG GUYS do you think I can do it?! September always seems to be such an impossibly busy month for me, but I am going to try to get my act together, and participate in this years Vegan MoFo in some way. If it isn’t a blog post each day, I will either play catchup, or post an Instagram photo!

Sometimes I will be following queues, but today’s are ALWAYS TREAT YOSELF TUESDAY.  I started Treat Yoself Tuesdays one fall when I noticed I was having notoriously awful Tuesdays. Weekends were rad, Monday’s usually meant just winding down from the weekend, but Tuesday’s are boring and generally unspecial to me, and also mean there is a lot of work to do before another weekend. (That said, I’ve warmed up to Tuesdays again recently because they also mean a vegan buffet at one of my favourite Northern Indian food restaurants and $2 off some pubs that I love).

Today was possibly the worst day I have had on a long time, so the last little bit of my night has been completely warranted.

Tonight after getting home from a long day, I immediately drew the bathtub and got my soooak on. I have been using a Live Clean Argan Oil body wash, which also doubles as a super cheap bubble bath alternative between LUSH trips! Combined with a Belgian Gothic from Yukon Brewing Company.

sry not sry for legs and beers.
Now, I am laying around with my soaking wet hair like it ain’t no thang, finishing that big tall bottle, reading some Sedaris, and enjoying a cinnamon bun! These came from a the extras of a batch I baked for an order today. Glorious. I couldn’t seem to get a shot of them that met my expectations so am just gonna own the grainy floralness.

Is anyone else round these parts attempting Vegan MoFo? How do you treat yoself and/or how should I treat myself NEXT Tuesday?!?!

Sedaris is hilarious. I chewed through all of his books so they all blend together but I’m stuck with the image of him as a Macy’s Xmas elf and hanging out with house spiders in France. My Tuesday has just begun so thanks for the prompt to treat myself. I might follow your lead and make a yarrow tea bath!

Hi there! It’s been a while since my last visit and comment sorry about that! I was wondering if you were doing Vegan MoFo again this year! Swing by my place when/if you can

  3. All my favourite things in one little post. I love Sedaris, bubble baths and indian buffets.
